At least here our Winter isn't too cold (no snow or anything). This past Winter my kids really enjoyed when we took our hot chocolate (and coffee..mmm) in a thermos and drank it at a local park of a look out. Simple, quick, a nice memory. Love going outside for a late afternoon wa...Me too! Love going outside for a late afternoon walk and coming back home to my warm house smelling dinner in the Crock Pot. Last year it was especially fun to come home at dusk right when our Christmas lights were switching on and we could see our house all lit up! I'm not sure where you live, but in Northern California we are spoiled. The winters are pretty mild, so going outside really only requires a few warm layers and a scarf!
