So, I've been pretty excited to start the new year with the 365 project. I've been following Georgia's project over at Documenting Delight and I've been eager to start my own. A photo a day for the year and then a hardcover printed book with all 365 photos. It seems a little daunting but I definitely think I'll be able to do it!
Of course, day 1's photo didn't happen until late evening. I've been caring for a sick babe and his even sicker papa all day and this was the first moment I had time to even think of taking a photo. Papa's being a little melodramatic in this photo but he was trapped in that spot and I understand the face. Odin was so content snuggled up against Z that Z wasn't allowed to move without ending with a whimpering babe.

One of the nice things about being in Florida (for Odin) is the heat. Odin can hang out naked during the day, which makes him quite the happy little bub. Unfortunately he's recently discovered his, um... self. So we've been trying to keep him a little covered with his towel, at least.

Happy New Years!
We rang in 2013 with lots of fireworks, friends, and family. Odin took a fairly long nap and was awake and outside for midnight. He was his papa's first kiss in 2013 and my second. The fireworks were loud but he still loved them.
Happy 2013, everyone! I'm still working on my new year's resolution, but it'll definitely involve making more, buying less, and avoiding stress as much as possible. I'm happy with where I am in my little spot in life and know exactly what I need to do to grow happier. I hope this coming year is filled with music, dance, art, and laughter- even more so than any year before it. 2012 was definitely a roller coaster of a year but was definitely a year that will always be one of my favorites.
