busy day bluff walk

Today's the day we go to surprise your papa at the airport. It's been a month and even though he's had fun and has learned so much while building Earthships, I'm glad he's coming home and I know you are too. Our last day without papa has been a busy one. Olivia spent the day with us and with a little help from Aunt Marin, mama was able to pack for our off-island overnight excursion and shower (yes, I even showered!).

Madaket

Off to visit one of my favorite Nantucket mommies. Alicia has been an awesome Nantucket mama to me in the past years and I wish we could visit her more often! A morning filled with Madaket beach, tea, toast, and lots of talk was just what I needed. Alicia's house is definitely one of my favorites and I'm lucky to say I've lived there, even if just for a short time. Odin has been resisting greens lately and Alicia must have the magic touch- he feasted on kale and sunflower sprouts.

One more day and we'll be headed to the airport to surprise your papa upon his arrival. He thinks he'll be sleeping in the baggage claim, but we have something a little different in mind!

Yaya's house has a basement playroom which means lots of funny new toys and strange sleeping positions, apparently.

Today's the last day of our week at Yaya's house. For breakfast, we dined on blueberries and bananas and spent the rest of the day relaxing in the playroom after a visit to Meme's!
