Mum's day (with a little extra honesty)

I hope everyone had a brilliant mumma's day today! We had a very laid back day and I definitely enjoyed it. I have two very special boys in my life and I'm ridiculously grateful for them both.

A lot of people have recently asked me about the photographer behind my photos. Zak is a very talented (although he denies it constantly) photographer and as much as I complain sometimes- he really does take some excellent photos. His method is a little different than mine (unplanned.. very unplanned... sometimes he doesn't even look through the lens!) and it can be a little challenging. A lot of the time my face looks like this:

as I whine about his methods. I need to stop doing that! 

Sometimes, I make him take terribly planned photos and they end up looking like this:

So, from now on, I think I might just let him do his own thing. They always look much better when I don't try to play director. It's a personality trait that I'll have to work on, but hey, At least I'm honest!

We always have really ridiculous outtakes like these and I never post them, but I think I might start to include them every now and then!!
