Easter/Belated Spring Solstice Celebration

To be perfectly honest, I've never dyed a single Easter egg in my entire life! I'm so excited that this year Rachel and I decided to dye some white and some brown eggs using all natural dyes: turmeric, tea, blueberries, red cabbage, and cayenne pepper. I think Odin may have still been a little young for an egg hunt but he did enjoy the few eggs he was able to find (he just didn't understand why he had to put them in a basket). We had pancakes and salad for brunch (with some mimosas). As mama hen, I got to hide all of the beer for the big kids' beer hunt (a little something for everyone as we do live communally with friends).

    1. It was definitely entertaining. I wasn't drinking any Pabst, so I got to make the rules? haha. As each beer was found, the person wasn't allowed to continue looking until they had finished it! bahaha! I got to sit in the grass with Odin and drink my Mimosa and watch it all go down. Lovely Easter morning!
