Fall Moments

Fall's slowly starting to end and winter is beginning. Yesterday, it was absolutely frigid and we stayed inside all day long. As the warmer Fall days begin to dwindle, we'll have to really take advantage and head outside every opportunity we have. Inside time won't be too difficult, because I've been stocking up my Pinterest with crafty ideas and am eager to drink hot tea and cider every night and bundle up with Zak and Odin for any short venture we may have. There's nothing more rewarding than taking a winter walk and coming back home and shedding those layers, basking in the comfort of our gigantic bed. What are your favorite winter activities?

  1. Me too! Love going outside for a late afternoon walk and coming back home to my warm house smelling dinner in the Crock Pot. Last year it was especially fun to come home at dusk right when our Christmas lights were switching on and we could see our house all lit up! I'm not sure where you live, but in Northern California we are spoiled. The winters are pretty mild, so going outside really only requires a few warm layers and a scarf!

  2. Autumn always fades so fast :( It's my favourite season too. At least here our Winter isn't too cold (no snow or anything). This past Winter my kids really enjoyed when we took our hot chocolate (and coffee..mmm) in a thermos and drank it at a local park of a look out. Simple, quick, a nice memory. Odin looks like the cutest little gnome in that blue sweater! Flipping adorable.
