Odin loves other children so much, so visiting with my sister and her daughter is always such a joy for him. He really looks up to Kira and chases her around, happy just to be in her presence. When we arrived back home, I was unpacking our things from our trip and Odin found one of Kira's school photos that we were given. He held it up close to his face smiling at his cousin and then kissed the photo repeatedly while giggling. It was adorable but at the same time made me miss being close to my family so very much.
We were also very lucky to visit a couple of my childhood friends. Ali and Samma! I haven't seen them in years but Ali has recently become mama bird to the most gorgeous little girl, Emmy. I miss my friends dearly and Ali has become the most beautiful mother. She's one of those that motherhood comes easy to. Her darling baby bird looks just like her- which means she's beyond stunning! I wish we had more time to spend with my twin, Samma- but there's always next time.
I'm so happy I got to see all of you (Samma included!). I love the photos of Emmy and Odin. He hugged and kissed her like he knew her all along (and she took it with no problem!). I can't wait to see you both again.
